Chickens were immunized with Digoxigenin coupled to KLH. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the immunoglobulin fraction prepared. Antibodies were immunoaffinity purified using the Digoxigenin immobilized on a solid support and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
